BURGJO OLIVE OIL EXTRA VIRGIN
Our oil production is obtained exclusively by milling the varieties of olives that surround our vineyards.
They are collected with the use of pneumatic pickers, as soon as they begin the ripening, and are milled at the end of the day.
The oil is cold extracted without adding water.
The obtained oil is packaged after a natural decantation in stainless steel tanks, and is slightly filtered before bottling.
Soil type: white calcareous matrix with medium weaving texture.
Altitude and location: 40-60 meters a.s.l. with light slopes overlooking the Mediterranean Sea from which they receive freshly morning breezes.
Production place: C.da Coste Fredde, territory of Noto
Cultivar: Verdese, Nocellare e Biancolilla.
Color: intense green.
Olfactory and taste sensations: medium fruity, shows a remarkable olfactory note of green tomato and freshly mowed grass; the flavor is confirmed by the olfactory notes, in addition to a moderate feeling of bitter and spicy, overall fresh and pleasing.
