In 1989 the winemaker Nino Di Marco, in love with the Netino and Pachinese region and with the great qualitative peculiarities of its vineyards: Nero d’Avola e Moscato di Noto, decides to start a path for the realization of a winery capable of combining the rich history of the area with the technical modernity in the production of wines.

Today the company “Terre di Noto” covers about 35 hectares of specialized vineyards with cellars, it mainly grows Nero d’Avola and Moscato, but also the main international grape.

The company is included in the production specifications of the Noto, Eloro and Sicily D.O.P., that are bottled, in addition to I.G.P. wines from Terre Siciliane.

In 2015, the company became part of the SOStain project. SOStain is a voluntary and proactive corporate sustainability program, which is carried out through a “sustainability process” capable of leading to gradual and continuous improvements over time in the level of sustainability.

In March of 2016 the Company obtained the license to use the “SICILIA KM 0” logo (which is at least 85% guarantee of the use of materials and services from the Sicily region.) whose purpose is to promote and enhance the quality of regional agricultural products, encourage their consumption and marketing, guarantee consumers a greater price transparency and ensure adequate information on the origin of the products.

From 2018, the company becomes entirely organic, after a three-year period of conversion of the integrated*, started in 2015.
